Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that the south west monsoon rains will intensify in three days.
South west monsoon commenced in Kerala a few days backs. Because of this there are sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Because of the south west monsoon, the intensity of the heat has come down drastically. Moreover the south west monsoon is also intensifying.
The density of heat which was prevailing severely has come down. As on Sunday, 99 degree Fahrenheit was recorded in Puducherry, Trichy and Madurai.
97 degree Fahrenheit was recorded in Chennai. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy. In the evening there will be mild showers.
An official of Chennai Meteorological Centre said: Since the south west monsoon is intensifying, there are rains in south and western districts of Tamil Nadu. There are also rains in the coastal areas. For the last few days there was lull in the south west monsoon. This will change in three days and the south west monsoon will intensify.
The impact of heat will also gradually come down.
