There are 5 successive holidays for the banks during the festive month of October from 8th October.

Thus there are 5 successive holidays for the banks.

This may disturb the financial transactions to be done during these 5 days. Since it is a longer period, even ATMs might be affected.

A bank official explained:

As the festivals of Ayudha Pooja, Vijayadasami, and Mohurrum follow the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of the month,  the situation of 5 successive holidays has occurred.

However, care will be taken to equip the ATMs with the higher amount of money.

Now-a-days, most of the banks have the facility of the machines to deposit money and updating the passbook. So, public can deposit money without much difficulty.
