Dont panic: Reserve Bank of India

The Reserve Bank of India has asked the people not to panic because Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes will no longer be legal from Tuesday midnight.
An official of the RBI said: In order to curb black money, the government and the RBI are taking various steps. As per this the Prime Minister of India has made the announcement. Hence the people should not panic after hearing this announcement. The Central Government has taken this step to bring out the hoarded black money. if you have old Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes, visit a bank or post office and deposit your Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes into your account and exchange it.
