E-commerce players have stopped the CoD option

E-commerce industry Amazon India and Flipkart was taken back after PM Narendra Modi‘s bold move to demonetize Rs.500 and Rs 1,000 notes from midnight.
Most e-commerce sites have a large proportion of buyers opting for Cash on Delivery (CoD) as the preferred payment option. With the notes suddenly going out of circulation, the major e-commerce players have stopped the CoD option, while other services are encouraging their customers to choose the online payment option.
The likes of Amazon India and Flipkart have halted the option of paying for a product using the cash on delivery option.
