Chennai Meteorological Centre: Rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu for 5 days

The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, Mr. S. Balachandran, informed that there are good prospects for rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu for the next 5 days.
It is well-known that the northeast monsoon rain season failed totally. On the other hand, the summer this season to be scorching even at the start.
In this scenario, there were rains in a few places in Tamil Nadu over the last few days. This has helped abate the summer severity.
The directors explained regarding the immediate future weather prospects. The summer season has started in Tamil Nadu.
It is expected that the hot weather would lead to cloud formation in the evenings causing some rains. This is known as summer rains.
As of now, there is no formation of any depression zones or cyclic effect in the upper layers of the atmosphere over Tamil Nadu.
With the onset of summer, there are prospects of light to medium rain in a few places in the interior districts of the state of Tamil Nadu. There may be rains in a few places in the other districts.
