Prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The depression which formed recently over the Bay of Bengal has weakened. The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
An official of the centre explained that the low-pressure zone which formed over the Bay of Bengal 2 days ago, was located over the South Andhra Coast and South Tamil Nadu Coast. However, it weakened yesterday (Sunday, 18th June).
There are prospects of rain m a few places in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to a recently formed thermal convection.
Chennai will remain cloudy. It might rain in a few places.
