Applications are invited before 15th December for filling up the vacant posts of salesman and packers in the Fair Price Shops under the control of the Registrar of the Cooperative Societies in the districts of Thiruvallur, Salem, Erode, Trichy, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, Tirupur, and Nilgiri.
Total vacancies: 1074
Post: Salesman
Monthly salary: Rs. 5000 for the first year as a contract payment. After 1 year, the monthly pay scale will be Rs. 4300 – Rs. 12000.
Academic qualifications: The candidates must have passed +2 or equivalent qualification.
Post: Packer
Monthly Salary: Rs. 4250 for the first year as a contract payment. After 1 year, the monthly pay scale will be fixed.
For these government posts under direct recruitment, the caste-based rotation system is deployed.
Age Limit: The candidate must have completed 18 years of age as on 1st January 2017.
Academic qualification: Candidates who have completed 10th Standard are eligible to apply.
Application fee: Rs. 100. This must be paid to the savings accounts of the respective district cooperative society recruitment centres through the ‘muppadi challan - society challan’.
