Special Passport Mela, May 19, 2018 at Cuddalore and Vellore

Chennai’s Regional Passport office will conduct the Special Passport Mela on May 19, 2018 at Vellore and Cuddalore to meet the demand from the Public in getting comfortable appointments for the passport verification process.
This event will be organized at Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) and the main purpose is to focus on the population with frequent travelling and for those who ae unable to adjust with the appointment timings of the Passport verification rules of scheduling.
Vellore and Cuddalore Post Office Passport Seva Kendra will function on May 19, Saturday, like any other working day to accept applications on each of the time slots allotted for the public. More than 170 Applicants are expected to benefit from this Passport Mela.
For acquiring passport through this passport mela log on to the official website, ‘www.passportindia.gov.in’. Register your details online and generate the Application Registration Number (ARN).
Pay the online fees and then fix the appointment for getting the timings and the slot. With the required verification documents mentioned in the site, go to POPSK carrying one set of self-attested photo copies. This event of passport Mela will only accept fresh application and re-issues of the passport.
The slots and timings of the appointment will be released on May 16 in the official website. Other kind of application like On-hold verifications, Refused Tokens and Walk-ins will not be encouraged in this special Passport Mela.
