Englishman pins Indian Flag on his trousers

Mr. Paul Fixer Dyke, a teacher from London, caused a commotion during the Republic Day function at Tirunelveli. When Mr. Samayamoorthy, District Collector, called them onto the stage to be honoured, Mr. Dyke’s trousers were caught in a crowbar and tore. So, he pinned the metal Indian Flag that was on this shirt to his pants to hold.
This caused a flutter in the crowd and media persons clicked a picture too many. Mr. Dyke left without being honoured.
