KTCC (Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Chengalpet, Chennai) Rain Update - 28th August it is, hopefully u all remember the previous post and the date mentioned. Semma storms moving into Chennai. We will see rains in next 30-60 mins depending upon ur location
Hope u all remember that we always get rains a day before formation of a low pressure in Bay of Bengal with perfect convergence happening right at our KTC belt and after low formation our chances reduces.
Towering clouds moving in from chittor via Tiruttani, Arokkonam, Tiruvallur, Avadi, Poonamalle and finally will move into parts of the City. there was Alto-cumulus (Fish scales seen in the morning). Kindly dont get confused with the Strato-Cumulus which is found in lower levels or to be confused with Cirro-Cumulus which is found in even higher levels.. Namma fish scales has to been seen in mornings and will be in higher altitude.
Enjoy the rains. Hopefully. It covers many areas of the City. Remember it is moving from west to east. Athukulla dont put its not raining in triplicane or mandaveli, it will take time for coastal places to get rains as it has to cover entire city isnt it. Some places in city will get more rains and some places will get less rains. Thats always the nature of these veppa salanam rains.
