April 15th last date to file service tax

The last date for submission of Form ST – 3 for service tax for the period July 1st, 2012 to September 30th, 2012 is April 15th, 2013.
The Central Board of Excise and Customs of the Department of Revenue released an order dated 6th March, 2013 stating that, ‘In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of Rule 7 of the Service Tax Rules, 1994, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby extends the date of submission of the Form ST-3 for the period from 1st July 2012 to 30th September 2012, from 25th March 2013 to 15th April 2013.’
