Nowadays one needs to keep opening WhatsApp repeatedly to know the latest! Following the immensely huge popularity, WhatsApp has been making regular updates for the usage and safety of the users. Here are the details about the latest update on WhatsApp:
Call waiting
From now, one can use the ‘call waiting’ facility in WhatsApp as well just as done with the normal mobile call.
Until now, the mode of operation in WhatsApp was to reject the 2nd incoming call while already on the call. Thus the mode of operation was ‘one-time-one-call’.
However, henceforth, while on-call mode, one can identify the caller in case there is the 2nd call! However, one cannot put the present call on ‘hold ‘ as being done in the normal mobile call. However, one can expect even this shortfall will be rectified by WhatsApp rather soon!
One can recall the period when making ‘conference calls’ was impossible. So, WhatsApp will take up this challenge as well and keep adding facilities as per the normal mobile calls –‘call waiting’ is the next step in this endeavour!
Group
The one major source of worry for the WhatsApp users is when they are included in a new group without their agreement and let into having a look-in about the new group! It may be noted that there are mobile phone users using Whats App in more than 100 groups! This is reflected in some of the notifications in the Facebook accounts! The fact that some of our relatives and close friends do the mission of taking into a new group! At the same time, another status where even the closest friends/relatives being blocked also exists!
Stop! All these anxieties are over! Yes! WhatsApp has come up with the latest update on this issue to overcome this!
Fingerprint protection
Nowadays, there is an increasing number of cellphones which can be switched on with fingerprints. The digital experts can even identify the exact finger you are using as well! Normally, the thumb is used for making the fingerprint. However, even here, there are mall operators/hackers who manage even to steal your fingerprint!
Just like using a fingerprint for operating the smartphone, WhatsApp has also come up with the use of fingerprint. Any finger can be used for this.
To activate this, go into the WhatsApp Settings > Account > Privacy > Groups and then Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock. Then click thehe option - Enable Unlock with the fingerprint. Now you can take the fingerprint as preferred and install and protect your WhatsApp!
