Chennai Metro Records Over 92 Lakh Passengers in September 2024

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) continues to be a reliable travel option for the city`s residents, recording a total of 92,77,697 passengers in September 2024. The highest daily passenger count for the month was on September 6, with 3,74,087 commuters.
Throughout the year, CMRL has seen consistent ridership growth. January recorded 84.63 lakh passengers, followed by February with 86.15 lakh, March with 86.82 lakh, April with 80.87 lakh, May with 84.21 lakh, June with 84.33 lakh, July with 95.35 lakh, and August with 95.43 lakh.
