The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has announced the year-end exam schedule for classes 1 to 9. Exams will be conducted from April 8 to April 24, with different timings for various grades.
- Classes 1-3: April 15 to April 21 (Morning)
- Classes 4-5: April 9 to April 21 (Afternoon)
- Classes 6-9: April 8 to April 24
Summer vacation will begin on April 22 for classes 1-5 and April 25 for classes 6-9. Schools are set to reopen on June 2, but if temperatures remain high, the reopening may be delayed. The final decision will be made by the School Education Minister in consultation with the Chief Minister.
