No More Protests at Valluvar Kottam: New Venue Allocated in Chennai

The Greater Chennai Police Commissioner, A Arun, has announced that permissions will no longer be granted for protests at Valluvar Kottam. This decision comes in response to repeated public requests to shift the protest venue due to traffic disruptions in the area.
Moving forward, a designated location for protests has been allocated at Sivananda Salai in Triplicane. The change aims to reduce congestion and ensure smoother traffic flow in the city.
Authorities have urged organizations and individuals planning demonstrations to adhere to the new guidelines and conduct their activities at the assigned venue.
