Chennai–Bengaluru NH-48 Update: Major Progress on Ranipet–Kanchipuram Stretch!

Good news for travelers on the Chennai–Bengaluru National Highway (NH-48)! The widening and development works between Ranipet and Kanchipuram have been largely completed, bringing major relief to commuters.
Currently, only two flyovers at Kaveripakkam and Baluchetty remain under construction. The Kaveripakkam flyover is nearing completion and is expected to be opened for public use very soon. Meanwhile, the Baluchetty flyover will take a few more weeks before it is fully ready for traffic.
Once these last two flyovers are operational, the entire Ranipet–Kanchi stretch will offer a seamless, fast, and safer travel experience on NH-48.
