450 special buses on the day of ‘Thai poosam’ Festival to Palani

‘Thai Poosam’ festival will be celebrated in Palani on 17th January. The great number of devotees from various other districts have undertaken visit Palani by foot.
To facilitate these devotees’ return, the state transport corporation has arranged 450 special buses. Special buses will be run from Madurai, Theni, Trichy, and Karaikkudi from 15th January to 18th.
Mr. Sarangan, General Manager (Dindigul) informed more buses will be run depending on the rush. Extra officials have been appointed to explain the routes of the special buses at the bus stations.
