By these ways we could prevent cold and flu attacking us

Cold and flu are very common health problems of an individual.  They both are respiratory infections is well known. Some of the symptoms of this cold are running nose, sore throat, sneezing, cough etc.

Caused by influenza virus this Flu has few symptoms such as dry cough, moderate to high fever, headaches, body aches etc.

These create difficulties in daily lives for those who are affected with them. The below mentioned ways could help us in preventing cold and flu. They are

Walking is superb - For post menopausal women who have the habit of walking could avoid getting cold and flu. It is said that by walking briskly for atleast 5 times in a week cold could be avoided easily.

By good sleep - The issues regarding cold and flu could be avoided easily by having sound sleep. It is important to note that sleeping less than 7 to 9 hours would make our body more vulnerable to cold and illness.

Consume garlic - It is revealed that by consuming garlic we could avoid cold and flu attacking us. The antibacterial, anti-inflammatory plus antioxidant properties of garlic provides good resistance in us against cold and flu.

Probiotics intake is must - By taking yogurt, dark chocolates, misco soups etc that are rich in probiotics we could prevent cold and flu in us. It is known that presence of healthy gut bacteria is very important and by the intake of probiotics this healthy bacteria in us would be increased and it improves our immune system greatly.

Consuming fruits and vegetables - These fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants and by consuming these immune system gets stronger. Flavonoids present in the apples and berries help us in preventing cold is known.

Drink water - This is one important way by which we could prevent cold and flu attacking us. By drinking water regularly germs are flushed out from our body. By hydration our body’s immune system gets enhanced.

Consume green tea with lemon and honey - Drinking green tea mixed with lemon and honey is very important and it helps us in preventing cold and flu attacking us. It is worthy to mention that a moist wound condition is maintained and high viscosity provides superb protection against infections and this happens when we take green tea mixed with honey and lemon.

Fibre intake - This is also one important way to prevent cold and flu in us. It is superb if we consume atleast 30gms of fibre every day as superb immunity is got.
