Be careful and avoid these foods that could weaken your immune system

The Coronavirus pandemic has turned the entire world upside down and many have been affected by this deadly infection now. People are trying various ways by which they could strengthen their immunity. Doing exercises regularly plus maintaining a healthy lifestyle might be superb to keep this infection at bay. There are various foods available and we can consume these foods for our immunity to be good. Examples are citrus fruits, broccoli, garlic, ginger etc.

It is worthy to note that there are certain foods that we must avoid as these foods could weaken our immune system.

Various foods that must be avoided by us for the sake of immunity are

Avoid intake of added sugars:
It is believed that natural sweeteners such as honey, jaggery etc are good for the health. Added sugars like sugar present in the candies, sodas, sweets, packed juices etc could be harmful and could weaken the immunity.

Avoid intake of fast foods:
It is important to mention here that a person could be healthy if he or she does not eat fast foods. Our immunity could become weak if we eat fast foods containing sugars, sodium, saturated fats with little to no fibre etc.

Avoid intake of sodas:
The lack of neutrons in sodas could weaken the immune system. In addition, intake of sodas could lead to rapid weight gain also. High amounts of sugars and calories present in sodas could be dangerous to health. it is advised to drink pomegranate juice that does not have sugars.

Avoid too much ice cream:
Eating ice cream once in a while is okay but not too much. It must be noted that ice creams have saturated fats and sugars in high levels and this would weaken the immune system. Home- made ice cream would be better than those purchased from shops.

Avoid foods with high sodium:
Our BP would become high if we eat foods that are rich in sodium. Hence, we must avoid eating high sodium foods like canned soup, frozen meat, cheese pizzas etc that would increase the blood pressure. Increase in the BP would weaken the immune system.

Avoid intake of chips:
Many eat chips in huge amounts as they are crispy and tasty. Truth is that chips do not have any nutrients in them and eating too much of chips would weaken the immune system. Point is instead of chips we could eat nutritious foods like bananas, black dates and beans etc.
