Fengal Effect!!- Sudden closing of all parks and beaches in Chennai now due to adverse weather conditions!!

It has been raining heavily with winds blowing at high speeds in Chennai now and Cyclone Fengal is fast approaching. In this scenario, the Chennai Corporation Commissioner Mr. J. Kumaragurubaran has taken an important decision. He has informed that due to the anticipated adverse weather conditionS due to Cyclone Fengal, all the parks and beaches in the city would be closed on Saturday. This would be a precautionary measure.
In Chennai, to prevent public going to vulnerable areas that could be at the risk of flooding and strong winds etc, the authorities are taking this precautionary step. On 30th of November, Vandalur Zoo in Chennai would also be closed.
