Chennai to Launch Common Ticketing System for Public Transport

Chennai is set to introduce a unified ticketing system by April to simplify travel across the city’s public transport networks. The new system will integrate bus, metro, and suburban train services, allowing commuters to book tickets seamlessly through a single app. While metro and suburban train services already have online ticketing options, the bus system is nearing completion. Once finalized, the common ticketing system will enhance convenience and efficiency for daily commuters.
