Life duration of coronavirus on different surfaces!

Coronavirus, entering Wuhan city in China first, has fast and truly spread as global impact and the governments initiating various preventive activities and suggestions to protect the citizens! The virus, generally known as coronavirus –r COVID-16, has the nsame – ‘Sars-CoV-2’.
Citizend have been suggested to follow various preventive methods – such as avoiding touchng the door-handle to pen – instead use the arm-joint to press and open!, cleaning the office furniture frequently with disinfectants, travelling in buses without holding on the hanging handles, etc.! This preventive action is only to ensure that the virus, if present on the door-handles, may infect!

Air
When coughing or sneezing, around 3000 micro-droplets of saliva are sprayed via the nose and the mouth. The size of these droplets would be 1-tio-5 micro-metre! In other words, the size would be 1/30th part of a human hair’s breadth!
Note that the coronavirus, while deposited on clothes and different items, can spread in the air as well! – These live up to 3 hours in the air!
How many viruses in each micro droplet?
No details so far! While analyzing influenza cases, the micro droplets from the affected person’s sneeze contained several tens of thousands of virus germs in each micro droplet! However, this may vary from one virus to another!
Life duration in human excreta
A fixed time of life duration has not been found yet! However, it is indicated that the virus lives for long durations in the human excreta!
In case a person uses the toilet with coronavirus, fails to wash his hands thoroughly and touches other items, this may lead to the spreading of the virus!
It is important to note that the main outlet for the virus to spread when a person initially touches a surface with deposited virus and then touches the face – without washing hands!
Metals, plastic, and glasses
Earlier research efforts have established that the entire virus in the Corona family can live for up to 9 days on unclean metal surfaces, plastic, and glasses.
In a cold climate, they can stay alive up to 28 days!
In a recent reresearch carried out by the USA National Health Institute, it was established that Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus can stay alive up to 2/3 days on metal and plastic surfaces.
However, on Copper metallic surfaces, they live only up to 4 hours!
Clothes
So far, it is yet to be established clearly how long they live on cloth surfaces.
However, on the surface of the cardboards which absorb moisture and dry quickly, the virus lives only for a shorter duration, much less than the duration of life on the metal and plastic surfaces!
Factors such as the humidity content, temperature, and associated changes have a direct impact on the life duration of this virus!
How to clean Sars-CoV-2 on the surfaces?
For cleaning the presently spreading Sars-CoV-2, use a disinfectant with 62-71% alcohol, or 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide bleaching powder or 0.1% Sodium Hydrochloride domestic bleaching powder and clean.
