The annual Panguni uthir Aarattu Vizha (festival) has been cancelled in Sabarimalai temple. It has been announced further that the temple corridors will not open on 28th March!
It had been announced earlier that the important annual ‘Panguni Uthirs Aaraatu Vizha’ was to commence on 29th March morning with the divine flag-hoisting ceremony. The temple corridors were to be opended at 5.00 PM on 28th March.
The Dewassom Board had informed that devotees will not be allowed because of coronavirus pandemic and however, the events will all be performed.
However, as a curfew has been announced, festivals have been cancelled in all the temples in Kerala State.
The Dewassom Board Officials have announced that the temple corridors will not open on 28th March. The cancelled festival will be conducted later in consultation with the temple Tantri.
