Surprising information about the second dose of vaccination in Chennai!!

Not everyone who has received both the Covaxin doses in Chennai!!
It is well known that GCC has been making huge efforts to vaccinate the residents of Chennai. It has been brought to light by the vaccination data that 40000 people might have missed their second vaccination dose of Covaxin within the ICMR advised window of maximum of 6weeks of time.
The duplication plus other technical issues in the availability of the data on the CoWIN portal might reveal that the actual numbers could be far lower. This was according to some GCC officials.
Till 2nd of August 2021, a total of 469,225 people have received their first doses of Covaxin and as many as 332,254 people have received their second dose in Chennai. This was as per the data available on vaccine doses administered through various government run centres.
It is worthy to note that those who had received their first dose till 20th June 2021 must receive their second dose by 2nd of August 2021 because it marked the end of 6week time period. This was as per the guidelines from ICMR. Information is that as on 20th June 2021 as many as 371861persons have received their first dose but on 2nd of August the total number of persons who had received their second dose was 332254 only. Truth is that a difference of 39,607 persons had missed their second vaccination dose. It must be remembered that in the previous analysis done in the second week of June more than 60,000 persons have missed their second dose in Chennai.
