The Coronavirus infection has spread like fire to every nook and corner of the world!!

Complete lock down was imposed in Tamil Nadu in May month to control the spread of this deadly infection. The spread was controlled well and the TN government announced many relaxations in the lock down.

In the Coimbatore district, the spread of Coronavirus infection is not yet under control and the cases have been increasing. It is now said that additional restrictions have been imposed to control the spread of the infection here. According to the district collector of Coimbatore it was confirmed that there would be additional restrictions in the district of Coimbatore beginning from 1st September. He added that this would be done mainly to control the infection spreading.

Point to be noted is that those textile shops and in the corporation limits would not be open on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to this, there would not be parks, malls etc also. It is known that crowds throng the shops during the weekends without maintaining social distancing etc and this would increase the Coronavirus spread. In Coimbatore, bakeries can function from 8am in the morning till 6pm in the evening. All other shops except those selling important items must be shut down at 10pm in the night.
