Postal staffs to go on strike today

Today postal services may be affected because National Federation of Postal Employees has planned to go on a strike because of several issues. One such is related to core banking system. Many post offices are now CBS-enabled. But there are many problems in server connectivity.
The employees of the postal department have to face the wrath of the customers because of this. Similarly the employees were unable to carry out rural postal life insurance and Selvamagal Thittam transactions owing to problems in CBS network.
