This would be the tenth year and it would take place in Chennai. This was mentioned by Mr. Benedict Salvo, TNIBF founder. Information is that this hot air balloon festival would have the closing ceremony in Madurai.

The wind conditions play a huge role in this amazing event. There would be as many as 10 hot air balloons from several countries like the UK, France, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand.

Public coming to watch this event would witness hot air balloons in several special shapes and sizes of baby monsters, Hugo the cheetah, Wes the wolf, Eli the elephant etc. In addition to these, there would be a separate balloon for TN tourism also. Mini balloon models would showcase the working of hot air balloons to the kids who come to witness the event. Domestic tourism would be boosted by hot air balloons festivals etc.
