New Green Park in Koyambedu Set to Open by End of May
A beautifully designed green park with modern facilities is nearing completion on the Koyambedu Inner Ring Road near the Poonamallee High Road junction. Developed by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Corporation at a cost of ₹8.63 crore, the park spans approximately 3.59 acres and is expected to be opened to the public by the end of May.
The park will feature a yoga center, walking path, gym, and other amenities, aiming to offer a refreshing recreational space for residents. Social activists have welcomed the development, expressing joy over the initiative. “A grand green park is being built under the Koyambedu flyover. We are very happy it’s being constructed for the benefit of the public and children. We are eagerly waiting for its opening,” they said.
