Simbhu quits Kiruthiga Udhayanidhis film

Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi made her debut as director through the hit and hilarious film Vanakkam Chennai which had Mirchi Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Santhanam had donned an important role in this film. Anirudh had composed the music. After this Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi did not direct any new film.
Later on there were news that Simbhu will don the lead role in a film which is to be directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. At this juncture, there is news that Simbhu has quit this film due to his call-sheet problems. Simbhu as of now is acting in Idhu Namma Aalu, Atcham Enbathu Madamaiyada and Kaan. After this, he has decided to join hands with director Ameer Sultan for a rural mass entertainer.
At the same time Kiruthiga is said to be working on a different script for which the selection of cast and crew are underway.
