The CEO of Apple, Mr. Tim Cook, informed that the sales of iPhone in India has gone up by 50 percent.
He informed further that as far as the financial year 2016 is concerned, the sales of iPhone in India is up by 50 percent as compared to the previous year. It is strongly expected that this trend of increasing sales will grow further. Apple company has started an ambitious voyage in India, where there is a large and feverishly growing market for smartphones.CEO Cook confirmed India’s prominent position as the reliable market.
Cook recognized that the sale of smartphones in India is somewhat less as compared to other countries as there is not proper infrastructure. However, with the increasing investments in 4G services, Apple can offer the best services in India.
Cook informed that the advent of 4G services has created a great impact in India. Reliance has launched 4G services in 18000 cities and 200000 villages.Reliance has joined with Apple in providing 1-year free services for buyers of iPhone.
India has a special place in the international trade market. India has a huge market for sales of smartphones while China is in the 1st place in cell phone manufacturer.
A recent survey confirms that around 25 Lakhs iPhones have been sold in the period from October 2015 to September 2016.
With the controversy regarding the burning issue of Samsung Galaxy 7, Apple is planning to overtake Samsung’s mobile sales in India.
