Chidambaram Constituency: In 2004, due to difference of opinion between Tada Periyasamy and Thol. Thirumavalavan, Tada Periyasamy was throw out from VCK party and joined Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP). In 2004, Tada Periyasamy contested Lok Sabha election from Chidambaram constituency under BJP banner (with AIADMK alliance) and lost the elections. Again in 2006, Tada Periyasamy contested from Varagur constituency under BJP banner in the TN State Assembly elections and lost the elections.Then he joined in Bahujan Samaj Party and work for the party.The party not satisfied with his work. So Tada Periyasamy came out from BSP party once again and joined in BJP.
