Before delimitaion, Uppiliapuram, Varahur, Ariyalur, Andimadam, Jayankondam and Perambalur were present in this Constituency.
After delimitaion, Uppiliapuram, Varahur and Andimadam Assemblies were Retrieved. Ariyalur and Jayankondam Assemblies were joined to Chidambaram Constituency. Thuraiyur and Manachanallur are newly formed and Joined. Lalgudi, Musiri and Kulithalai are also joined to Perambalur. Total number of Voters in the Perambalur Constituency is 10,49,033.
